Top 5 Tips to Sell T-shirts Faster
1.) Follow a Current Event
The first thing that you can do is to follow a current event. This means that you should look at the current events for inspiration.
For example, right now, anything to do with Donald Trump, like a pro or a con is trending. Also, I remember that when I was in LA, and I saw so many t-shirts on El-Chapo, who was a Mexican drug lord that escaped from prison. It was popular back then, and people were printing these t-shirts and making money.
All you need to do is to look for some current event and if it goes well with your niche. Then start making and printing designs accordingly, and this will help you to sell your t-shirts faster.
2.) Get your t-shirts in front of the right audience.
This is very important, and I mention this again and again. Choose your niche, and get it in front of the right audience.
Let me put this in an example format:
Let’s say that you want to sell your t-shirts based on paintball, then this means that you wouldn’t want to get it in front of women who are into makeup.
Similarly, you don’t want to sell your t-shirts based on makeup in front of the people who are into fishing or hunting.
Therefore, you need to focus on a niche and then get it in front of the right audience, such as the people who are interested in your niche.
3.) Learn to Advertise
The next tip for selling t-shirts faster is that you should learn to advertise.
Now, I am not saying that you should put out commercials during halftime of the Superbowl, because that would cost you millions!
I am talking about going to platforms like Instagram, Pinterest, and learn about doing ads.
Remember that Instagram is owned by Facebook and, everyone has a Facebook account. Just add your credit card and open a Facebook ad account:
On your ad pages, go to ad settings and select Instagram on the ads section:
There you go! You can now start getting followers and make sales through Instagram.
Another platform that I want to mention is Pinterest:
Just do it for a week or two and see what happens.
4.) Good Quality
One important thing is the quality of the garment.
Remember that you are selling a product, and that product should be of high-quality.
Therefore, make sure that you do a high-quality print on a high-quality t-shirt blank, and it should be something that feels good, soft, and high-quality.
Pro tip: Always select a t-shirt blank that if it didn’t have any print on it, but still a person would like to wear because of its high-quality.
For high-quality blanks, I strongly suggest Bella+Canvas. They make high-quality blanks with high-quality fabric and, they also have tri-blends.
Therefore, if you want something soft and smooth like butter, then you can check out Bella+Canvas. Also, if you are interested in quality content about t-shirts, then you can subscribe to the Bella+Canvas YouTube Channel.
Hence, always make sure that you are providing high-quality t-shirts because, if you sell t-shirts that feel like cardboard, then you will get more returns, which means that you will lose money.
So, focus on making high quality t-shirts.
5.) Hire an Influencer
This one is important, and it can help you make a lot of money by hiring an influencer.
An influencer is someone who is popular on social media and if they are in your niche. Then it’s all for the better.
There are a lot of influencers on multiple social media platforms like Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, and they are all popular.
So, all you need to do is to reach out to them and ask them to post while wearing your t-shirts.
Some of them may do it for a free t-shirt, but some of them may have prices.
Now, I don’t recommend that you reach out to someone who has millions of followers and charges you an outrageous amount of money.
You can reach out to someone who has maybe 50,000 or 80,000 followers and charges a justified amount of money.
Also, there would be influencers who like your t-shirt and, they promote your brand in exchange for free t-shirts.
So, you have to reach out to them and hire an influencer. Look and see what design would look better on what person and approach accordingly.
Therefore, you should reach out to someone influential and ask them to wear your t-shirts.
Do this, and it will take your business to another level.
