Hi there, welcome to Tshirthelpdesk.com
My name is Gary. I have been working as a brand graphic designer for 20 years now, and here I am to share my wealth of knowledge with you. I teach people how to design, market, and promote their t-shirt business.
Alright guys, this blog is an excerpt from my course i.e. the T-Shirt Branding and Packaging Course, and it is going to be phenomenal.
So, here it goes!
In this blog, I am going to demonstrate how you can print a t-shirt at your home without using screen printing.
Now, there are tons of ways to do that, but in this one, we are going to use a heat press.
So, I am going to use the big 16X20 heat press:
We are going to print this blank t-shirt:
Also, we are going to use the custom heat transfer from this company called VersaTrans:
It is a fantastic company, and they were also very kind enough to give us some samples for the heat transfer.
So, we have this “D” graphic, as you can see:
Also, they gave us our heating and printing instructions. Now, this one requires a 350 degrees Fahrenheit temperature, and it requires medium pressure for 4-6 seconds, and it is a hot peel:
Now, something that you have to very careful about is the concept of Fahrenheit and Celsius. So, this heat press is from China, and it shows the temperature in Celsius:
The instructions show the temperature in Fahrenheit. So, I suggest that you go to the internet or use a smartphone to do your conversions and calculations.
Now, 350-degrees Fahrenheit is 177 degrees Celsius, and I have already put the heat press on this temperature:

Note: One thing that you need to make sure of is the alignment of the graphic. Therefore, when you decide to print on the left side of the chest, then take it from the left shoulder point. As in this case, if you do not know what you are doing, then you may get it too much on the left side, and it might get printed on the left side near the underarm.
Now we have done it, and it looks good!
We are about to print, and the good thing about heat transfers is that when you have your heat press ready, then it takes about 8 seconds to print the t-shirt.
Again, be careful with the heat, and confirm that the graphic is in the center of the heat press.
So now, we’ll press it, and wait for 8 seconds:
It’s done, so we need to take the t-shirt out and peel it of:
And, it’s done, the t-shirt is ready now:
Look at what we have here, we have an awesome t-shirt with our “D” graphic at the left chest. Does it get better than this?
And that’s all for printing a t-shirt. This doesn’t get any more branded than this. Think about whatever you want to print on a t-shirt, and get yourself a heat transfer made, I mean you can do a lot of things like vinyl cutting, DTG printing, and there a lot of things that you can do!
So that’s it, you can start printing your t-shirts at home using heat transfers.
Make Your Small T-Shirt Business Look Like A Big Business!
Most of you guys would already know that I do a lot of videos on my YouTube channel about starting a t-shirt business, which includes how to print t-shirts, how to make t-shirt websites, marketing and selling t-shirts.
With all those videos, there are a few videos that stand out and one video in particular is: “How To Make Your Little T-Shirt Business Look Like A Big Business”.
The amount of comments, text messages, and emails on this video were overwhelming, and it was outrageous!
So, I decided that I am going to take this to a new level. Therefore, I made an entire course dedicated to t-shirt branding and packaging.
You heard it right! Yes, I have created the most outstanding t-shirt branding and packaging course on the planet, and I am going to walk you through the entire process. It covers everything from bare bones blank t-shirts, to creating something that looks like it belongs to a high-end store at the mall.
Or, it can be a real dynamic, awesome t-shirt brand, and it is something that looks so outstanding and professional that it blows everybody’s mind.
The best thing about this is that everything can be done in your living room, attic, basement and a spare room.
Everything can be done right at home, this is crazy!
I mean when you are starting out and you want to have that extra edge then I have got this course for you.
We are going cover everything from adding original back label, how to take the neck labels out, and where to get the best blank t-shirts. How to look professional without doing a lot of work, how to add labels, hand labels, sleeve labels.
I am going to teach you on how to add hang tags and where to get the best hang tags and even how to make and create your own hang tags right at your home.
I am going to teach you to add woven labels or any other kind of labels, how to get a sewing machine with a little bit of money, and even how to do embroidery on your t-shirts without using an embroidery machine.
You can embroider t-shirts done at home, and guess what? It’s done with an iron. How cool is that?
I am even going to show you how to print your t-shirts at home, in the attic, kitchen, basement, or wherever you have your printing setup in your house.
Also, after you get your t-shirt line looking fantastic — which is just the starting part — then I am going to teach you how to mail your t-shirts, and how to design custom mailers and how to get the packaging your t-shirt.
I will teach you about the packaging that is going to blow your customer’s mind, and it can be done by you in your home.
I am going to teach you how to create a custom one-of-a-kind packaging, and it is going to be something that you have never seen before!
For example, here’s packaging that looks like meat containers:
Chinese food:
Packaging that looks like an all-organic beauty:
Packaging that looks totally original:
In a nutshell, I am going to teach you things that you would have never done before. I am going to teach you how to make that little t-shirt business look like an outstanding one of kind brand. I am going to teach you branding, and how to make your t-shirt line in competition with the big businesses.
There is nothing like this on the internet, and all of your stuff is going to stand out from everybody else.
This is course is for you! And guess what? I am offering a 60-day money back guarantee. So, you have nothing to lose except having a corny looking t-shirt line.
Now, I know that your stuff does not look corny, but I am quite sure that there are few ways in which I can teach you to step up your game, and I am going to teach you how do it!
At the end, your business has to look professional, pristine, and you want it to look nice and go “bling-bling” as they say! This is just the course where I show you how to do it, and you cannot use with the stuff that I use!
So, come on in and get the course and it will blow your mind, if you are out in the market and selling, then you’ll think about how you can take this to a new level, or if you are just starting and you want your stuff to sit above the rest.
